The Atlanta Hawks have reached an Exhibit 10 agreement with free-agent center Malik Williams, according to multiple reports on September 24, 2025.
Michael Scotto of HoopsHype first reported the training-camp deal, while Lauren L. Williams of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution confirmed the Exhibit 10 designation. The contract allows Atlanta to convert Williams to a two-way slot or, if he is waived, to earmark a bonus of up to $85,300 should he join the organization’s G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks, for at least 60 days.
Williams, 6-foot-11 and a Louisville product, went undrafted in 2022 and began his professional career in Poland. He spent most of the 2023/24 season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Miami Heat’s G League affiliate, before signing a late-season 10-day deal—and later a rest-of-season contract—with the Toronto Raptors.
In seven NBA appearances for Toronto, the 24-year-old averaged 2.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 0.6 blocks across 15.3 minutes per game. He returned to Sioux Falls for the 2024/25 campaign and produced 16.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks over 31 G League outings. He shot 45.0% from the field, 39.6% from three on 5.5 attempts per game and 66.7% at the foul line.
The Exhibit 10 deal gives Atlanta an extended look at Williams during training camp while preserving roster flexibility heading into the regular season.
