Gilgeous-Alexander, Mitchell Earn NBA Player of the Week Honors

November 24, 2025 — Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell have been selected as the NBA’s Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, the league announced.
Gilgeous-Alexander guided the defending champions to a 4-0 record during the week, averaging 31.0 points and 6.5 assists while shooting 60 percent from the floor. The honor is his second in three weeks.
Mitchell led Cleveland to a 3-1 mark, posting 31.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
Other Western Conference nominees were Santi Aldama (Grizzlies), Luka Dončić (Lakers), De’Aaron Fox (Spurs), James Harden (Clippers) and Nikola Jokić (Nuggets). Eastern Conference nominees included Jalen Duren (Pistons), Josh Giddey (Bulls), Brandon Ingram (Raptors), Kon Knueppel (Hornets), Tyrese Maxey (76ers), Norman Powell and Kelel Ware (Heat), Ryan Rollins (Bucks) and Franz Wagner (Magic).
