A new report from TrueHoop suggests Giannis Antetokounmpo might never wear a Milwaukee Bucks uniform again.

Journalist Henry Abbott wrote that sources believe the two-time MVP, currently out four to six weeks with a right calf strain, could be finished in Milwaukee. Over his last five appearances, the Bucks were outscored by 55 points while he was on the floor, according to the report.

Abbott also noted that Antetokounmpo nearly dismissed longtime agent Alex Saratsis. Rich Paul of Klutch Sports is reportedly positioning himself to represent the forward, with help from Giannis’s brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Uncertain outlook for struggling Bucks

Milwaukee sits 11th in the Eastern Conference after three consecutive first-round playoff exits. The team is 3-11 without Antetokounmpo this season and now faces at least a month without its franchise centerpiece.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists. He is earning $54.1 million this season and holds a $62.8 million player option for 2027-28. His contract does not include a no-trade clause.

The 29-year-old has already been linked in speculation to the Knicks, Heat, Warriors, Lakers, Hawks and Nets. With the NBA trade deadline set for Feb. 5, league executives are expected to monitor his status closely.
