Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to action on Friday against the New York Knicks, the team announced on social media.

The 30-year-old was upgraded to available after completing his pre-game warm-up routine, according to The Athletic. He had initially been listed as questionable for the matchup at Madison Square Garden.

Antetokounmpo has missed the last four games—and most of a fifth—since suffering a left adductor (groin) strain on November 17 in Cleveland. Milwaukee dropped all five contests without him and has lost six straight overall, falling to 8-11 and 11th place in the Eastern Conference.

Through 13 appearances this season, the two-time NBA MVP is averaging 31.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.2 blocks while logging 31.8 minutes per game.

Friday’s contest will be his first game back since the injury.
