Milwaukee has fielded official trade proposals for two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves and New York Knicks, league insiders told ESPN on Monday.

Speaking on SportsCenter, reporter Shams Charania said the Bucks are not only taking calls but issuing counteroffers. According to Charania, Golden State’s package leans heavily on draft picks, Minnesota’s offer centers on players, and Miami’s proposal sits between those two approaches.

The Bucks’ asking price remains unchanged: young, blue-chip talent and/or a significant cache of first-round selections.

The Current Landscape

New York Knicks: ESPN’s Brian Windhorst described New York as involved but not aggressive, noting the club is hesitant to go “all-in” while playing some of its best basketball of the season.

Minnesota Timberwolves: Windhorst labeled the Wolves a “long shot” yet active, adding that front-office officials are recruiting additional teams to strengthen their proposal. Should that effort stall, Minnesota is expected to redirect its focus toward upgrading at guard.

Miami Heat: The Heat’s projected offer, reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, could feature rookie center Kelel Ware, guard Tyler Herro, Terry Rozier’s expiring contract, other young pieces, two first-round picks and multiple pick swaps. Miami is reportedly willing to keep reshaping the package if necessary.

Golden State Warriors: The Warriors have prioritized draft capital in their bid, though specific pick details have not been disclosed publicly.

Veteran NBA reporter Marc Stein told SiriusXM NBA Radio that predicting a final destination is “really hard to call,” emphasizing the fluid nature of talks as the trade deadline approaches. For now, negotiations remain active, and Milwaukee continues to weigh whether to act before the offseason.
