Luka Doncic quickly erased doubts about his health by pouring in 28 points and handing out 10 assists as Slovenia defeated Great Britain 93-81 in a EuroBasket warm-up game on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Lakers star had been listed with a right knee contusion after a teammate landed on his leg during Saturday’s exhibition against Latvia. Four days later he played without apparent limitation, guiding Slovenia to a comfortable win.

ESPN’s player rankings for the tournament place Doncic third among NBA participants. Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic (Serbia) sits at No. 1, followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece). Franz Wagner (Germany) and Alperen Sengun (Turkey) complete the top five.

Lithuania’s outlook will hinge on center Jonas Valanciunas, the roster’s only NBA representative. “I think every team is capable,” the veteran said, citing Serbia, Turkey, Germany, Slovenia and Greece as powerhouse lineups but adding that “every team can make some shake.”

Roster notes around the field include former Warriors forward Alen Smailagic, who will miss EuroBasket for Serbia after injuries sidelined him during preparation games. Bosnia and Herzegovina will also be without EuroLeague standout Dzanan Musa because of health concerns.
