Miami climbed three positions in the projections, even after consecutive first-round exits that were largely one-sided. According to ESPN, the rise stems from top-10 grades in management, market appeal and financial flexibility. With Jimmy Butler no longer on the roster, the club is not forecast to enter the luxury-tax bracket, potentially creating significant spending room in the 2026 and 2027 off-seasons.
Celtics Rely on Core to Rebound
A year removed from celebrating an NBA title, Boston’s fortunes changed quickly. Jayson Tatum suffered an Achilles injury in May, the team was eliminated in the second round, and cost-cutting trades sent Kristaps Porziņģis and Jrue Holiday elsewhere.
