The Los Angeles Clippers have lowered their planned total of bobblehead giveaway nights from six to five after removing a Chris Paul promotion originally scheduled for Feb. 2.

According to the team’s initial plan, the Clippers intended to distribute a league-leading six bobbleheads during the 2023-24 NBA season. The original slate was:

  • Jan. 12: Kris Dunn
  • Feb. 2: Chris Paul
  • Feb. 22: James Harden
  • Mar. 4: Bradley Beal
  • Mar. 16: Nicolas Batum
  • Mar. 25: Kawhi Leonard

Paul, no longer expected to suit up for the franchise, remains on the roster only in name, prompting the organization to cancel his giveaway. The change leaves five bobblehead nights on the calendar.

Even with the reduction, the Clippers still lead the NBA in planned bobblehead distributions this season. At an estimated wholesale price of about $3 per figure and a seating capacity of roughly 18,000 at Intuit Dome, providing bobbleheads for just the Kris Dunn and Nicolas Batum nights would cost approximately $110,000.

The promotions join a busy marketing schedule for the club, which is also set to host the NBA All-Star Game later in the season.
