With the trade deadline passed and roster flexibility restored, NBA teams have accelerated the use of 10-day contracts. Since last Thursday, six such agreements have been finalized, and more are expected once play resumes after the All-Star break.
Active 10-Day Contracts
- Philadelphia 76ers: Patrick Baldwin Jr. — runs through Feb. 14
- Philadelphia 76ers: Charles Bassey — runs through Feb. 14
- Washington Wizards: Keshon Gilbert — runs through Feb. 15
- Los Angeles Clippers: Dalano Banton — runs through Feb. 16
- Memphis Grizzlies: Lawson Lovering — runs through Feb. 20
- Washington Wizards: Kadary Richmond — runs through Feb. 20
League rules require every 10-day contract to cover at least three games. Because Patrick Baldwin Jr., Charles Bassey, Keshon Gilbert, and Dalano Banton each joined their clubs with at least three contests remaining before the All-Star break, their deals will lapse before the schedule restarts.
Kadary Richmond signed on Feb. 11, aligning his contract with Wizards games on Feb. 11, 19, and 20. Lawson Lovering’s agreement, inked on Feb. 9, covers only two pre-break matchups, so it automatically extends to the Grizzlies’ first post-break game on Feb. 20, effectively making it a 12-day pact.
Teams can continue to award 10-day contracts throughout the remainder of the regular season, and additional signings are anticipated once the All-Star hiatus ends.
