The Cleveland Cavaliers ruled out guards Darius Garland (toe injury management) and Lonzo Ball (illness) for Monday’s road game against the Indiana Pacers. The pair joins Larry Nance Jr., Max Strus, Jarrett Allen and Sam Merrill, who had already been sidelined with various injuries.

In Chicago, the Bulls listed Coby White as doubtful for Monday’s matchup with the Orlando Magic because of left calf tightness and congestion. White has appeared in five games this season, averaging 24.2 points and 6.2 assists after returning from a right calf strain. Noa Essengue, Jalen Smith and Isaac Okoro are out, while Zach Collins is also doubtful.

Pacers forward Johnny Furphy, who sprained his left ankle in early November, was assigned to the G League’s Noblesville Boom over the weekend and subsequently recalled. The 2024 second-round pick has played three NBA games this season after appearing in 50 contests as a rookie.

With Tyrese Haliburton out for the year, Pascal Siakam has become Indiana’s primary scoring option. The veteran forward delivered consecutive 24-point performances as the Pacers doubled their win total by defeating the Wizards and Bulls over the weekend. Indiana opened the season 2-16 after reaching last year’s NBA Finals.

“You can’t take it for granted,” Siakam told the Indianapolis Star. “Every single possession that we win, every single run that we have, every single win, we gotta take it and enjoy it … We’re tired of losing. We can’t keep losing.”
