The Cleveland Cavaliers have converted 7-foot center Olivier Sarr to a two-way contract and waived guard Darius Brown II, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.
Sarr, 25, logged parts of three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder between 2021 and 2024, averaging 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in limited NBA minutes. After his stint in Oklahoma City, he joined the G League and spent training camp last fall with the Toronto Raptors before being released.
This year, the French big man has appeared in 39 games for Raptors 905, where he is posting 11.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per contest.
Brown’s tenure on Cleveland’s two-way list lasted roughly a week. The rookie guard is expected to return to the organization’s G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge, where he has spent most of the season.
