The Cleveland Cavaliers will open training camp on Tuesday in Florida with a key roster decision still unresolved: the team’s final two-way contract.

NBA rules permit three two-way players, and Cleveland has already committed spots to Luke Travers and NaeQwan Tomlin. That leaves one opening for a group of camp invitees holding Exhibit 10 contracts.

Forwards Tristan Enaruna, Chaney Johnson and Miller Kopp, along with center Norchad Omier, headline the quartet eligible to compete for the deal. All four signed Exhibit 10 agreements, which can be converted to two-way contracts before the start of the regular season.

Guard Killian Hayes, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2020 draft, also joined the Cavaliers on an Exhibit 10 contract but is not eligible for a two-way slot. If Hayes fails to secure a standard roster spot, he could report to the Cleveland Charge of the G League or explore opportunities elsewhere. His immediate status may hinge on how the Cavaliers manage injuries to Darius Garland and Max Strus at the beginning of camp.

Cleveland’s training-camp roster features seven players on Exhibit 10 deals. Recently waived forwards Warith Alatishe and Jaxson Robinson are expected to join the Charge if they do not make the NBA roster.
