The Cleveland Cavaliers confirmed that FanDuel Sports Network will continue producing pre- and postgame programming for all road contests during the 2023-24 NBA season, but the broadcasts will originate from the opposing arenas instead of a Cleveland studio.

The change surfaced after “Cavaliers Live” host Cayleigh Griffin posted on social media that studio shows for away games were being eliminated. While the studio component is ending, the segments themselves will still air, now filmed from the arena floor before and after each road matchup.

Griffin will not travel with the club this season. In addition to her Cavaliers responsibilities, she has accepted assignments with the Minnesota Timberwolves, where she will appear on select game coverage and handle occasional sideline reporting.

Details about the rest of the “Cavaliers Live” format are expected soon. Current plans indicate that coverage for home games will continue to originate from the network’s set on the outer concourse of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, while the newly on-site road broadcasts replace the previous studio setup.

The full talent roster and production schedule will be announced before the season begins, and minor adjustments to the presentation are anticipated because of Griffin’s expanded duties.
