The Cleveland Cavaliers will no longer produce pre- and postgame studio shows on FanDuel Sports Network when the team plays away from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the club confirmed this week.

Beginning with the 2025-26 NBA season, the Cavaliers Live program will air only for home contests, running 30 minutes before tipoff. FanDuel’s studio coverage for road games has been discontinued.

Host Cayleigh Griffin, who announced the change on social media, will continue to anchor Cavaliers Live at home while also taking on hosting and sideline-reporting duties for select Minnesota Timberwolves broadcasts on FanDuel Sports Network.

The status of longtime Cleveland analyst and franchise legend Austin Carr, who frequently appeared on the Cavaliers’ studio shows, remains uncertain. Former guard Daniel “Booby” Gibson, an occasional analyst last season, could also be affected by the programming shift.

Most Cavaliers games will still air on FanDuel Sports Network this year; matchups not carried by the channel are expected to receive national coverage or a local simulcast. Industry speculation continues that the franchise’s broadcasts may eventually move to Rocket Entertainment Sports Network, a platform owned by team governor Dan Gilbert in partnership with Gray Media.

This season marks the first under the NBA’s new media rights agreement, which features incumbents ESPN/ABC alongside newcomers NBC and Amazon Prime. The Cavaliers will open media day on Monday and begin training camp Tuesday in Florida.
