The Cleveland Cavaliers listed center Jarrett Allen as questionable for Friday’s game against the Miami Heat, according to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.
Allen has been out since March 3, when right knee tendinitis forced him to exit a matchup with Detroit. The 27-year-old has missed Cleveland’s last 10 contests.
Before the injury, the one-time All-Star was posting his best numbers of the season, averaging 21.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals in 28.9 minutes over 14 games while shooting 72.4% from the floor.
The Cavaliers are 33-18 when Allen plays and 12-10 without him, including a 6-4 record over their past 10 outings. Earlier in the season he sat out with a fractured left ring finger followed by a right finger sprain.
Allen is earning $20 million this year; a three-year, $90 million extension is set to begin in 2026-27.
Even if Allen returns Friday, Cleveland will still be without Craig Porter Jr. (left groin strain), Jaylon Tyson (bone bruise in left great toe) and Dean Wade (right ankle sprain), Chiang added.
