The Cleveland Cavaliers are finalizing a two-way contract with forward Riley Minix, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Minix, 25, appeared in three NBA games for the San Antonio Spurs earlier this season while on a two-way deal, logging eight total minutes and scoring three points.
The 6-foot-7 forward also suited up for the Cleveland Charge in the NBA G League, where he averaged 19.3 points and 6.7 rebounds across 12 regular-season games. His shooting splits with the Charge were .556 from the field, .457 from three-point range and .741 at the free-throw line.
With Cleveland, Minix will join two-way players Tristan Enaruna and Emanuel Miller, filling the Cavaliers’ third and final two-way roster slot.
