The Cleveland Cavaliers will once again be without starting center Jarrett Allen when they face the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night at American Airlines Center.
Allen has been ruled out for the fourth consecutive contest. He previously missed Wednesday’s 128-122 defeat to the Orlando Magic. The 6-foot-11 big man has averaged 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and is shooting 63.6 percent from the field over 51 games this season, serving as a key interior presence on both ends of the floor.
Guard Tyrese Proctor will also remain sidelined with a quad strain.
Cleveland enters the matchup at 40-26, holding fourth place in the Eastern Conference and an 18-14 road record. Dallas, at 22-44, is already looking toward next season. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. EST and will stream on Amazon Prime. The two teams are scheduled to meet again Sunday in Cleveland.
