Former NBA lottery pick Cam Reddish has signed a contract with the NBA G League, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line. The move places the 6-7 wing on waivers; if he goes unclaimed, he will enter the NBAGL available player pool, making him eligible to join any G League roster.
Reddish, selected 10th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, spent six seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers. Across 254 regular-season appearances, including 116 starts, he averaged 8.5 points on .398 shooting from the field, .322 from three-point range, and .821 at the free-throw line.
The Lakers waived the former Duke standout in March. Unable to secure an NBA deal over the summer, he signed with Lithuanian club BC Å iauliai in September but departed roughly three months later for personal reasons. During nine games in the Lithuanian Basketball League, he posted averages of 14.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
Reddish, 26, is viewed as a capable wing defender who could draw NBA interest later this season if he performs well in the G League.
