The Chicago Bulls are back in familiar territory, riding a four-game winning streak after Tuesday night’s comeback victory in Atlanta. A healthy Coby White and Josh Giddey once again headlined the surge, reminding the club of the 15-5 finish it enjoyed over the final 20 contests of the 2024/25 season.

White, sidelined for much of the current campaign with a lingering calf injury, told reporters in Atlanta that he is “confident the chemistry will come back.” Head coach Billy Donovan welcomed the prospect, noting the duo’s success a year ago. “Coby’s just trying to get back and find a rhythm,” Donovan said. “Last year, they coexisted very well. Those two guys playing at a high level is going to help, but we’re going to have to rely on the other guys, too.”

Immediate Results on the Court

The combination clicked fast. White finished Tuesday with a team-best 24 points, four assists and three steals, while Giddey produced 19 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds. The triple-double was Giddey’s seventh of the season, trailing only Nikola Jokić’s league-leading 14.

Giddey Balances Team Goals and Personal Ambitions

Despite the statistical milestones, Giddey emphasized that winning remains the top priority. “Every player wants to be an All-Star … and I’m no different,” he said. “You’ve got to be able to do that inside the team and win games while trying to do individual things as well. Winning solves everything.” Through 27 games, the 21-year-old guard is averaging career highs of 20.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 9.1 assists while shooting 40.2 percent from three-point range.

Roster Stability Paying Off

Chicago’s rotation is close to full strength for the first time all season; only rookie forward Noa Essengue remains out after shoulder surgery. Guard Ayo Dosunmu credited the recent health for the club’s improved form. “We understood that [the losing streak] was not the best basketball we were playing, but we all knew what we were capable of,” Dosunmu said. “We put it together and have been playing a great stretch of basketball. Now we’ve got to just keep doing it.”

Chicago dropped seven straight earlier in the year but has quickly climbed back to form, leaning on White and Giddey to steer the offense and revive the momentum that closed last season.
