Bucks Exploring Trade Scenarios for LaVine, Grant, Wiggins and Murray to Aid Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks are actively evaluating potential trades for several high-priced veterans as they seek to strengthen the roster around two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

Fischer reports that Milwaukee has shown renewed interest in Kings guard Zach LaVine and continues to monitor Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant, two players who have been on the Bucks’ radar in previous seasons. Heat forward Andrew Wiggins and Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray are also being tracked, though their availability remains unclear.

All four players carry sizable contracts that would require significant cap maneuvering. LaVine is earning $47.5 million this season, followed by Grant at $32 million, Murray at $30.8 million and Wiggins at $28.2 million.

Antetokounmpo’s long-term future looms over any decision Milwaukee makes. League sources previously told DallasHoopsJournal that the forward requested a trade before the season and expressed interest in joining the New York Knicks, but no agreement was reached. The Bucks have repeatedly maintained that Antetokounmpo is not on the market.

The All-NBA star is under contract through the 2027-28 season, with a player option in the final year and no no-trade clause, giving Milwaukee both flexibility and urgency as it considers moves to bolster his supporting cast.
