Mikal Bridges’ durability continues to separate him from the rest of the league. The Knicks wing is the NBA’s lone active player with 500 consecutive appearances and could extend the streak to 638 if he plays every regular-season contest in 2025-26. Bridges told the New York Daily News’ Kristian Winfield that daily cold tubs, massages and a strict stretching routine keep him ready, adding that his main goal is to “be consistent all the time and continue to do all the things that are going to get me prepared for the game.”

New York’s ball security remains an issue. In Tuesday’s 104-95 loss at Minnesota, the Timberwolves’ aggressive backcourt forced 19 Knicks turnovers that led to 22 points. “It’s gonna be hard to win on the road if you have 19 turnovers,” head coach Mike Brown said. “Those turnovers led to easy baskets in transition. Give Minnesota credit—they brought a lot of physicality and created a lot of those turnovers.”

Karl-Anthony Towns delivered 40 points and 13 rebounds in the defeat but fouled out late, marking the third straight game he has picked up at least four personals. Towns has committed 30 offensive fouls this season, six more than any other player. “He just has to avoid the cheap ones,” Brown said, citing occasions when the center led with his hands or hooked defenders. “We have to sit him for minutes when he needs to be on the floor.”

Elsewhere, Knicks draft-and-stash prospect James Nnaji has enrolled at Baylor, positioning the center to begin his collegiate career.
