The Toronto Raptors are moving general manager Bobby Webster into a larger role. According to ESPN insider Shams Charania, the 40-year-old executive has agreed to a new contract and will become the club’s head of basketball operations.
Charania reported the promotion on August 18, 2025, noting that Webster and the organization finalized fresh terms before expanding his responsibilities. Further details about the length or financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Webster has worked in the Raptors’ front office since 2013 and was named general manager in 2017. As head of basketball operations, he will now oversee all roster construction, staffing, and long-term personnel strategy for the franchise.
