The Portland Trail Blazers have brought guard Sean Pedulla into training camp, the team confirmed in an October 7 press release.
Pedulla reached an Exhibit 10 agreement with Portland in June. Such deals allow the club to convert the contract to a two-way pact or waive the player before opening night, positioning him to join the Trail Blazers’ G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, as an affiliate player.
College and Summer League résumé
The 6’1″ guard was an All-ACC selection at Virginia Tech in 2024 before transferring to Ole Miss for the 2024-25 season. In 36 games with the Rebels, he averaged 15.4 points, 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals, earning a spot on the All-SEC third team. Pedulla later appeared in five contests for Portland’s 2025 Summer League squad, posting 5.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game.
Roster moves to create space
To fit Pedulla on the preseason roster, Portland waived forwards MarJon Beauchamp and Andrew Carr along with center Liam Robbins. All three had signed non-guaranteed camp contracts with the club last week and are expected to be candidates for the Remix once they clear waivers.
The Trail Blazers now have 19 players under contract for camp, two below the 21-player offseason maximum.
