The Portland Trail Blazers have filled out their training-camp roster by signing forward MarJon Beauchamp, center Liam Robbins and guard Javonte Cooke, the team announced Monday.
With the three additions, Portland now has 20 players under contract, leaving one spot available on the NBA’s 21-man preseason limit.
Beauchamp, 24, was selected 24th overall in the 2022 draft. The 6’7” forward has appeared in 135 regular-season games with the Bucks, Clippers and Knicks, averaging 4.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.9 minutes while shooting 43.0% from the field, 35.4% from three and 71.8% at the foul line. He was dealt from Milwaukee to Los Angeles at February’s trade deadline and finished last season on a two-way contract with New York.
Robbins, 26, spent most of the 2024-25 campaign on a two-way deal with Milwaukee but logged only 57 total minutes across 13 appearances before being waived in February. The 7’0” center went undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2023.
Cooke, also 26, has primarily played in the NBA G League since 2022 and had a stint with the Brampton Honey Badgers of Canada’s CEBL in 2024. The 6’6” shooting guard averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 28.2 minutes over 42 games for the Oklahoma City Blue last season, shooting 42.4% from the floor and 33.5% from beyond the arc.
All three players are expected to be on non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts, which can be converted to two-way deals before the regular season or provide an $85,300 bonus if the player spends at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate.
