The Utah Jazz are bringing in forward Blake Hinson on a two-way agreement, agent Paolo Zamorano of Gersh Sports told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Hinson, 26, has been one of the G League’s most productive scorers this season with the Rip City Remix, averaging 21.8 points and 5.8 rebounds for Portland’s affiliate.
Although he has yet to appear in an NBA game, the 6-foot-7 wing has already had stints with three franchises. He signed a two-way contract with the Lakers after going undrafted in 2024, accepted an Exhibit 10 deal from Golden State that September and was waived before opening night, and joined the Trail Blazers on another Exhibit 10 pact last September before being released the same day and assigned to the Remix.
Hinson played two collegiate seasons at Mississippi and two at Pittsburgh, earning second-team All-ACC honors in 2023 and first-team recognition in 2024.
Utah created a two-way vacancy by trading John Tonje to Boston on Thursday. The team’s other two-way slots are held by Elijah Harkless and Oscar Tshiebwe.
