The Dallas Mavericks halted a four-game slide on Saturday, riding a dominant night from Anthony Davis and an efficient effort from Max Christie.

Davis paced Dallas with 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished three assists and blocked five shots across 39 minutes. The outing marked the 36th time in his career he has recorded at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks, pulling him even with Hall of Famer Tim Duncan for the seventh-most such games in NBA history.

Christie, 22, complemented Davis by scoring 24 points on 10-of-13 from the field, adding seven rebounds and finishing three dunks. The guard is averaging more than 22 points over his last three games while shooting well above 50 percent.

“Three might be the most of my career,” Christie joked about his dunks afterward. “It felt good to be athletic out there, to be able to attack the rim and get a couple of dunks.”

The victory came with one concern: P.J. Washington exited after just 12 minutes due to a sprained right ankle and did not return, according to Brad Townsend.

Dallas nevertheless found enough answers to snap its skid and move forward with momentum.
