Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry lead the list of players chosen as starters for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, NBA Communications announced.

Eastern Conference Starters

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham and Tyrese Maxey will open the game for the East. Antetokounmpo has now been voted a starter for 10 consecutive seasons. Brown is headed to his fifth All-Star appearance, Brunson to his third straight, while Cunningham and Maxey each earn their second overall selection and first start. Cunningham is the first Detroit Piston named an Eastern Conference starter since Allen Iverson in 2009.

Western Conference Starters

The West will start Stephen Curry, Luka Dončić, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokić and Victor Wembanyama. Curry will play in his 12th All-Star Game and make his 11th start. Dončić claims his sixth nod. Gilgeous-Alexander earns his fourth selection and third consecutive start, while Jokić is an All-Star for the eighth straight year. Wembanyama becomes the first San Antonio Spur to start since Kawhi Leonard in 2017.

Game Format and Details

This season’s showcase adopts a U.S. versus World format. Three teams—two composed of U.S. players and one of international players—will compete in a round-robin tournament featuring four 12-minute games. Each roster will include at least eight players. The event is set for Sunday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m. ET inside the Clippers’ Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. How players will be divided among the two U.S. squads has not yet been finalized.

The remainder of the 2026 NBA All-Star rosters will be announced at a later date.
