Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo says the hardware on his résumé — two NBA Most Valuable Player awards, a championship ring, a Finals MVP and a Defensive Player of the Year honor — has only strengthened his appetite for more success.

“I’ve checked off every target I set when I entered the league, but now I want more,” Antetokounmpo said in a recent interview published by HoopsHype.

Championships and National Team Goals

The 29-year-old superstar listed his next objectives: adding a second NBA title with Milwaukee and securing another medal with the Greek national team. “Legacy means a lot to me,” he explained, noting that it is crafted “step by step, practice by practice, game by game, season by season.”

Expanded Playmaking Role

Antetokounmpo also discussed his evolving duties on the floor, emphasizing that he is most effective when initiating the offense. “With the ball in my hands, I can create for myself and my teammates. I know I have to play fast, and I’m ready,” he said.

Looking Toward Year 13 and Beyond

Preparing for his 13th NBA season, the seven-time All-Star expects to maintain elite production well into his mid-30s. “If I get to 36, I believe I’ll still be performing at a high level because I take good care of my body,” he said. “After that, we’ll see. If I can keep going, I will; if not, I’m disappearing to an island in Greece.”
