The Golden State Warriors have traded forward Jonathan Kuminga to the Atlanta Hawks for 7-foot-3 big man Kristaps Porzingis, according to the New York Post report dated February 5, 2026.
Porzingis joins Golden State with a reputation for floor-spacing and rim protection, attributes the Warriors have sought to bolster their frontcourt. The Latvian veteran also carries a lengthy injury history that has sidelined him for significant stretches in previous seasons.
Kuminga, 23, departs after three seasons in the Bay Area and will look to carve out a larger role in Atlanta.
