Tyrese Maxey and Myra Gordon Expecting First Child

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey and his girlfriend, former collegiate basketball player Myra Gordon, announced on Sunday that they are expecting their first child.
Gordon shared the news on Instagram, posting several photos of herself and Maxey alongside the caption, “I carry her while he carries us,” followed by a heart-hands emoji. Maxey later reposted the announcement on his own Instagram Story.
Gordon played at both Alabama and Pepperdine during her college career, averaging 7.9 points and 1.6 assists across 11 games in her final season with the Waves.
Maxey is in the midst of a standout campaign with Philadelphia, averaging 29 points per game as the club fights for seeding in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The 25-year-old guard is expected to miss at least the next two games after spraining his right finger over the weekend.
