Washington guard Trae Young is scheduled to make his first appearance for the Wizards on Thursday night, when the team hosts the Utah Jazz at Capital One Arena.

Head coach Brian Keefe confirmed Monday that the four-time All-Star will be on a minute restriction of roughly 17–20 minutes. Young hinted at the target date earlier in the day by posting an Instagram video of himself working out in Wizards gear with the caption “March 5th.”

The 26-year-old has not played since Dec. 27 because of MCL and quad injuries in his right leg. He was acquired from the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 7 but has been rehabbing ever since.

In 10 games this season, Young is averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 assists. Washington enters Thursday at 16-43, looking to accelerate a rebuild that also includes the in-season addition of center Anthony Davis, who arrived from the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 4 yet has not suited up for the Wizards.
