Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams has been sidelined for Monday’s road matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers after tests revealed a strain in his right hamstring, the team said Sunday.

The All-NBA selection exited during the second quarter of Saturday’s 111-103 loss to the Miami Heat. Oklahoma City did not specify the severity of the injury or offer a timetable for the 24-year-old’s return.

Williams opened the season on the inactive list, missing the first 19 games while recovering from surgery on his right wrist—a procedure he delayed until after the Thunder’s championship run last spring.

In 24 appearances this year, the 6-foot-6 forward is averaging 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists. Oklahoma City enters Monday at 35-8, the best record in the NBA.
