The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached a one-year agreement with free-agent center Thomas Bryant, according to his agents Mark Bartelstein and Zach Kurtin of Priority Sports, who spoke with ESPN on Tuesday.
Bryant, 28, is heading into his ninth NBA season after helping the Indiana Pacers reach the NBA Finals as a reserve last year. The 6-foot-10 big man is expected to bolster Cleveland’s front-court depth.
In 2024-25, Bryant appeared in 56 games for Indiana, starting eight, and averaged 6.9 points and just under four rebounds per contest.
The former second-round pick has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards and Denver Nuggets. Over 326 career appearances, he owns averages of 8.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 58.2% from the field.
