PHILADELPHIA — Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs was thrown out with 27 seconds left in the first half Tuesday night after a brief melee that produced five technical fouls during Orlando’s 144-103 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The dust-up began near the Magic free-throw line when Philadelphia center Andre Drummond and Orlando forward Wendell Carter Jr. squared off. No punches were thrown, but Suggs intervened and shoved Drummond. Sixers forward Jabari Walker stepped between the players, prompting additional pushing and shoving.
Referees assessed two technical fouls to Suggs, resulting in the ejection. Drummond, Carter, Walker and Magic guard Desmond Bane each received one technical.
Orlando took control long before the scuffle subsided, outscoring Philadelphia by 26 in the second quarter to build an 86-60 halftime lead. The Magic never looked back, handing the 76ers their most lopsided defeat of the season.
The game was played Nov. 25, 2025, at Wells Fargo Center. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
