The Los Angeles Lakers have obtained guard Luke Kennard from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for guard Gabe Vincent and a 2032 second-round draft pick, sources told ESPN on Thursday.
The move, completed on Feb. 5, 2026, supplies Los Angeles with one of the league’s most accurate long-range shooters. Kennard is hitting a career-high 49.7% of his three-point attempts this season and owns a lifetime mark of 44.2%.
The 29-year-old is averaging 7.9 points across 46 games in his ninth NBA campaign. He will join a perimeter group that already features Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James, giving the Lakers additional floor spacing.
Atlanta receives Vincent, 29, who is posting 4.8 points per game in his seventh season. The Hawks also create an $11 million trade exception and add a future draft asset.
