Durant to sit out Rockets’ next two games for family matter

Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant will be unavailable for the club’s upcoming two-game road swing while he attends to a family issue, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The 13-time All-Star is set to miss Monday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns and Wednesday’s contest versus the Golden State Warriors, both former teams of the 35-year-old.
Durant is averaging 24.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season, shooting 48.5% from the floor. Houston has opened the campaign 10-4, placing fifth in the Western Conference heading into Sunday’s action.
