The New Orleans Pelicans announced Monday that Jordan Poole has been medically cleared to take part in on-court basketball activities after missing the last 10 games with a left quad strain.

The club also said Herb Jones will be sidelined for a minimum of one week due to a mild strain in his right calf. The forward will be reevaluated after that period.

Poole, 26, last appeared on Nov. 4, logging 27 minutes in a 116-112 road victory over the Charlotte Hornets. New Orleans has struggled in his absence, going 1-9 and dropping its past nine games.

Poole is averaging 17.3 points per game while shooting 33.9% from three-point range. He has started four of the seven games he has played this season.

Jones, considered one of the Pelicans’ top perimeter defenders, is posting 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per contest.

The team recently welcomed back Zion Williamson, who returned on Nov. 19 after missing eight games with a hamstring injury.
