Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein is expected to be out of action for 10 to 14 days after being diagnosed with a right soleus strain, the team announced Saturday evening.
The 7-foot center missed Friday’s victory over the Phoenix Suns because of what was initially listed as right ankle soreness. Additional evaluation revealed the calf injury, which affects the soleus muscle in the lower leg.
Hartenstein had started all 19 games for the league-leading 19-1 Thunder, averaging 12.2 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 67.1% from the field.
