Brooklyn Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez kept first-year guard Egor Demin on the bench for nearly the entire second half during the team’s defeat on Nov. 15, 2025.
Demin logged only limited third-quarter action before Fernandez removed him and stuck with different combinations the rest of the night. The rookie did not return, watching from the sideline as Brooklyn’s comeback bid fell short.
Fernandez did not provide extensive detail after the game, saying the move was part of his in-game adjustments. The Nets, however, were unable to turn the tide and left the arena with another mark in the loss column.
