Brooklyn Nets forward Noah Clowney arrived for the start of training camp on Sept. 29 visibly bigger after an offseason focused on reshaping his body, according to the New York Post.
Observers inside the organization said the 6-foot-10 big man “looks great,” noting the added muscle should help him handle the physical demands of the upcoming NBA schedule.
No official weight gain was disclosed, but the noticeable change in Clowney’s physique was the most talked-about sight as players reported to the team’s Brooklyn practice facility.
The Nets open preseason play next week, giving Clowney an early opportunity to test his revamped frame in game action.
