Amazon’s streaming service will launch “NBA on Prime” with a Boston Celtics–New York Knicks matchup and says the game will be available to viewers at no charge.
The company announced on Oct. 24, 2025, that its first NBA broadcast will feature the longtime Eastern Conference rivals. Fans will be able to access the live stream through Prime Video without paying, according to the platform.
Details on tip-off time, announcers and specific promotional terms were not immediately released, but Amazon indicated that anyone interested can sign in to Prime Video on game day and watch the opener free of charge.
The Celtics-Knicks meeting serves as the debut event for “NBA on Prime,” marking the latest live-sports venture for the streaming service.
