On Oct. 7, 2025, New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown said he has formulated a plan for his starting lineup with the regular season fast approaching.
Brown, entering his first training camp with the Knicks, noted that decisions about the opening-night starters are essentially set, though he did not reveal any names or positional changes. He added that the remaining preseason practices will be used to fine-tune rotations and conditioning.
“We know what we want to do,” Brown said, explaining that he intends to keep the team’s core group on a consistent schedule to build familiarity before the season opener later this month.
The Knicks continue preseason workouts this week at their Tarrytown training facility. Their next exhibition game is scheduled for Friday at Madison Square Garden.
