Michael Jordan will appear on NBC’s NBA broadcasts in a newly created on-air role, the network confirmed Tuesday.
The initial outline of Jordan’s responsibilities surfaced on Oct. 21 2025, shortly after NBC startled the sports-media industry with its overall NBA coverage plans. While exact details of his assignments were not immediately released, the network indicated that more information would follow in the coming weeks.
NBC has not specified when Jordan’s first on-air appearance will occur or which studio or game segments he will join. Additional elements of the broadcaster’s revamped NBA lineup remain under wraps.
