Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban sharply criticized sports commentator Pablo Torre on Sept. 5, 2025, after Torre’s remarks about Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer during ongoing discussions of the Kawhi Leonard scandal.
Cuban’s public response came shortly after Torre questioned Ballmer’s role in the controversy involving Leonard. Taking to social media, the longtime Mavericks owner said Torre’s commentary was unfair and insisted that Ballmer had been misrepresented.
The exchange unfolded as the NBA community continues to focus on allegations surrounding Leonard’s recruitment. Neither Torre nor representatives for the Clippers immediately replied to Cuban’s criticism.
