LOS ANGELES — The Lakers will lean on veteran guard Luke Kennard after learning that both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves will miss upcoming action, the team confirmed Monday, April 6, 2026.
With two primary backcourt contributors unavailable, head coach Darvin Ham is expected to increase Kennard’s minutes and offensive responsibilities. The 29-year-old sharpshooter, acquired earlier this season, is averaging 11.2 points while shooting 42.8 percent from three-point range.
