Los Angeles — LeBron James notched a triple-double on Tuesday night, guiding a shorthanded Los Angeles Lakers squad without Luka Doncic to a 120-101 victory over the Washington Wizards.

James controlled the game on both ends, reaching double figures in three statistical categories to secure the win at home. His all-around effort allowed the Lakers to pull away after halftime and keep the Wizards at arm’s length the rest of the way.

Washington struggled to match Los Angeles’ pace, falling behind early and never recovering. Despite several scoring runs, the Wizards were unable to slow James’ balanced attack or close the gap in the fourth quarter.

The triumph improved the Lakers’ standing as the regular season winds down, while Washington left Los Angeles still searching for answers on defense.
