Luka Doncic will be available for the Los Angeles Lakers’ matchup with the Detroit Pistons on Sunday after the NBA overturned the technical foul that had been assessed to him in the team’s previous game.
The league’s decision erased what would have been Doncic’s 16th technical of the season. Under NBA rules, a 16th technical results in an automatic one-game suspension; the rescission keeps the All-Star guard on the floor for the contest in Detroit.
The Lakers did not disclose further details of the league review, but confirmed the ruling on Saturday. Tip-off against the Pistons is scheduled for Sunday night at Little Caesars Arena.
