The Los Angeles Lakers have filled their 15th and final roster spot by agreeing to a two-year contract with guard Kobe Bufkin, the franchise confirmed on Feb. 8.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The move brings the Lakers to the NBA maximum of 15 standard contracts ahead of the season’s stretch run.

Bufkin, 22, enters the organization after spending the early part of the campaign as a free agent. He will join a backcourt led by D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves as Los Angeles looks to bolster its depth for a playoff push.

The signing gives head coach Darvin Ham an additional option at both guard spots, while general manager Rob Pelinka now has the full complement of players available for potential in-season maneuvering.
