The New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors have jointly withdrawn a federal lawsuit that stemmed from accusations the Raptors obtained proprietary team information, effectively bringing the year-long dispute to a close.
Court papers filed Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, show both NBA franchises agreed to dismiss all claims and counterclaims, ending the case before it reached trial. The filing did not disclose settlement terms or any financial details.
The Knicks originally alleged that confidential scouting and analytics materials were improperly taken and used by personnel who later joined the Raptors. Toronto consistently denied wrongdoing.
With the lawsuit now dropped, neither organization has announced further comment on the matter.
