The New York Knicks rested additional starters in their preseason finale on Oct. 17, extending a pattern that saw the team complete the entire exhibition schedule without ever using its full projected starting lineup.
Throughout the preseason, New York withheld at least one first-team player from every game. Friday’s decision to keep more regulars on the bench solidified the trend, leaving the club still waiting to see its complete starting five together in live competition.
The Knicks now turn their attention to the regular season, which begins later this month.
